In honour of it being International Women's Day I snapped these photos outside the station. In the photos are District Support Officer Barb Bednarek, 1st Lieutenant Linda Bowden, Training Co-Ordinator Tiffany Jencke, Regional BASO Olivia Duffey and Community Education Co-Ordinator Claire Cowton. 5 Outstanding Ladies helping create a safer community on French Island. If you look closely, there is a 6th lady in the photo, a sleeping lady koala in the tree behind the team! It was great to spend the day with the Volunteers of French Island and network solutions for a Brigade that definitely is outside the norm!.
